Hi everyone! My name is Emily. My husband and I got married a few weeks ago and decided to start blogging about our adventures in life together. Now, adventures, I mean anything from DIY around our house, cooking up a storm in our kitchen, DIY holiday decorations, all sorts of crafting, travel... goodness, the list continues. We can not wait to share our experiences and hear about yours! A few things about me: My name is Emily, I was raised in WV and taught how to stand on my own two feet and DIY almost anything. I LOVE to cook and craft. If I could quit my job, I think I could live in the kitchen. My husband is Bradley, he was raised in PA and is learning all of the things I already know about home repairs and such. He likes cars, sports, and keeping his lawn looking spiffy. So, needless to say, our life can get interesting!
We met in college and shortly after moved to DC for our first jobs. After living together for 3 years, Bradley proposed in NYC a few weeks before Christmas. It was magical; he caught the entire thing on video! Well, 2 years and a lot of planning later, the wedding is over! I can't believe it. I put my heart and soul into those few hours. I do have to admit, it was an exhausting process and I loved every minute of it. The day flew by and before you know it, we were old married people.
We are first time home owners and in the [slow] process of updating our house. So, I will definitely be letting you all know about our learning experiences and sharing some [hopefully astonishing] before and after pictures.
